pretty boyz

Location: Spanish Villa somewhere in Boulder, CO

The joy of androgyny goes both ways. There is nothing wrong with a boy in a chick blazer. Especially a leather croc embossed blazer. You look chic, sophisticated, and girls will be dying to rip your clothes off...and wear them. With some nice jeans or slacks and a pair of high tops or dress shoes you can't go wrong. Be sure to whip out your iphone and/or diesel wallet, as chicks totally dig money too. Smile. You look good.

achromatic goodness

Location: Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Golden CO

It's not fall yet. I know the weather is taking a slight turn for the colder, but god knows I'm still sweating every time I walk to the nearest coffee shop or vegan restaurant. And when I get there, I want to look good for all the pseudo hipster boys eating their tofu wraps and drinking their Kombucha. This lovely lady is a perfect example of how i can pull this off. Rock a little white dress. It's strictly feminine and playful, yet simple and effortless. Compliment the dress with a pair of boots and a high waisted belt to look too precious for words. This look combined with your knowledge of Ulrich Schnauss and Richard Hawley will make any boy drop their jimmy wrap for a taste of you.

i adore androgyny

Location: Sushi Den, Denver CO

One way to look deliciously chic and sexy is to, oddly enough, dress a bit like the other sex. In a day and age that is past the trend of jenkos, this shouldn't be all too difficult. You know how cute you look wearing your boyfriends tshirt to bed (it's usually big on you if you aren't like me and opt to date men that weigh more than you)? Apply this idea to your daily style. Think over sized tops over deep necked tees, mixed with tight tapered jeans and top off the look with heels. You stay looking feminine, yet cover that unsightly whiskey gut! Plus nothing is more sexy than androgyny, have you even seen Agyness Deyn?

the good kind of shambles

Location: La Rhumba (Lipgloss), Denver CO

One of the best ways to impress the ladies is to look like you didn't put any thought in your outfit, when actually you planned everything from the boots to the vintage chain around your neck. Or in other words, "The Pete Doherty". It's big these days. To achieve: dirty deep V's and tanks always tend to seal the deal, paired with some tapered black jeans and classy boots. Scarves, bracelets and necklaces (can be as simple as a chain you ripped off your fan/light fixture) are always a good accessory as well. Then of course, the getup must be topped by a Fedora cap or leather jacket. I don't even know why I'm giving instructions. You boys already know. Keep up the good work.

jailbait and tackle

Location: La Rumba (Lipgloss), Denver CO
First there were baby doll dresses in the 90's, then it was suspenders that were attaching themselves to the tapered jeans of hipster chicks roaming the fields of music festivals, and now...now, we have the romper. Is it pedophilic that childhood styles come back as sexy outting outfits? Perhaps. But regardless...rompers look amazing and are a must have summer style. Pair them with cowboy boots, ankle boots, or heels, along with and a whole mess of vintage jewelry. The best part? You don't really have to compose an outfit....the bottoms and tops are an all in one deal! So easy a child could do it! And they do.

trashtastic

Location: 9th and Pennsylvania, Boulder, CO
There is nothing better then a set of pasty pale man legs. And with it currently being the beginning of summer, what better time to show them off? Cut offs are one of man's greatest creations...right up there with ice cream and cynicism. They are sensible, adorable, and happen to be quite flattering (almost everyone can expose a little calf). If short shorts are a no go this summer, don't be afraid to use denim cut offs as a stylish replacement. Worn with a tight tank/tee/sweater (boys) or a peasant blouse/boho top (girls) you'll look like the most stylish kid at the creek! Pick up a pair today (along with a 30 rack of PBR).

wild kingdom

Location: Benders Tavern, Denver, CO

I think it's safe to say that animal print isn't just for Claire's snap bracelets and 12 year old girl's bed sheets anymore. Animal print tops and dresses have become a staple look for summer. Whether it's a nice cheetah top, zebra leggings, a giraffe inspired dress...screw the models, we want to look like our four legged friends (note: try to stray from anime cat ears). This adorable tube shirt looks fun and sexy paired with high waisted shorts and a vintage large charm necklace. It's fun, flattering, and perfect for a night out on the prowl. Get it?
