trashtastic

Location: 9th and Pennsylvania, Boulder, CO
There is nothing better then a set of pasty pale man legs. And with it currently being the beginning of summer, what better time to show them off? Cut offs are one of man's greatest creations...right up there with ice cream and cynicism. They are sensible, adorable, and happen to be quite flattering (almost everyone can expose a little calf). If short shorts are a no go this summer, don't be afraid to use denim cut offs as a stylish replacement. Worn with a tight tank/tee/sweater (boys) or a peasant blouse/boho top (girls) you'll look like the most stylish kid at the creek! Pick up a pair today (along with a 30 rack of PBR).

wild kingdom

Location: Benders Tavern, Denver, CO

I think it's safe to say that animal print isn't just for Claire's snap bracelets and 12 year old girl's bed sheets anymore. Animal print tops and dresses have become a staple look for summer. Whether it's a nice cheetah top, zebra leggings, a giraffe inspired dress...screw the models, we want to look like our four legged friends (note: try to stray from anime cat ears). This adorable tube shirt looks fun and sexy paired with high waisted shorts and a vintage large charm necklace. It's fun, flattering, and perfect for a night out on the prowl. Get it?

marlboro man

Location: Streets of London, Denver, CO

This situation is more of a steeze than style issue. First off, some would claim that women don't objectify men the same way men objectify women. However in this day and age, that's often not the case. Thus, it doesn't hurt for those dashing young lads to show off a little skin. A tight shear tee is always a good choice for a warm summer night out on Colfax. Class it up a bit with a dull colored bandana (clearly to avoid all gang related confusion) and some skinny jeans, you hipster cowboy, you. Styles from the past always come back after their expected hiatus, but it John Wayne did it...the look takes no breaks.

iconoclastically delicious

Location: 9th and University, Boulder, CO

Currently at the Met museum in New York, they are showcasing a gallery on Superheroes and Fashion. One of the aspects many designers have been channeling is the graphic emblem located on the bulging chests of many Superheroes. This trend is likely pulled from iconoclasm at its finest, however it also looks amazing. This over sized batman tee paired with a high waisted skirt is the perfect presentation of "elegantly dishevelled". The peep toe flats and a white clutch also work great to seal the deal. She looks like a cupcake, a cupcake that is ready to save the world...one jack and coke at a time.

welcome..

We've all been there. Whether it's at a coffee shop, restaurant, street corner, or bar, everybody has experienced that exact moment when fashion jealousy strikes. You see that stylish and adorable young lady, or disgustingly handsome and dapper young man walking into the room...and in comparison, you simply feel inadequate. The urge rises...first in your ankles, then up to your chest...to immediately run home and change in the hopes of replicating that outfit (or at least certain dynamics) which has caught your eye.

So where do I come in?
My job is to photo document these pioneers of style and present them to the world, while also providing insight on how to achieve these sassy looks. So please, use this blog for your enjoyment and inspiration. Happy browsing!
